GPS on a Chip

Via Nicolaus Correll, the HammerheadTM chip is a single-chip Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS) receiver for mobile telephones, smart phones and PDAs. It incorporates radio frequency and baseband GPS functionality enabling emergency assistance and location-based services for mobile phones.
